The Story Behind The Samoan Flag!

On the Samoan flag, the 5 white stars represent the moonlight and the colours back in the past century’s. It also stand for the southern stars. The blue colour means Water and Hope. Also, the red colour stands for the land, and also son and blood.

Having FUN at Rainbow's End!!!

On a hot sunny day, my aunty, cousin, and Jordenne went to Rainbow’s End for Jordene’s 9th birthday. I felt really excited as soon as we got there. I was also afraid to go on the Fear Fall.

Our first ride to go on was the Power Surge. As soon as we all buckled up and started, we first went up and then we started spinning around and upside down. I felt really scared that I can feel myself starting to fall off a little. Jordenne and I were wanting to get off already because it was too scary.

Next, we went to the Gold Rush. It looked really cool to go on. We all started screaming when we were in the dark. We were shouting and screaming because there were a lot ghosts and horrible things popping out and the scariest part is when it looked like we were going to crash into another ghost's car.

After that, we went on the Log Flume and I was amazed when I heard that we were going to ride on water. When we were in the dark, we could see little, small, big and strong looking toys. The toys made the ride better. We went down the big slide and we had to look at the big white camera. We had to do any pose. I poke the tongue. Silly me.

Rollercoaster time! I was really excited to go on the Rollercoaster. Up, down, and upside down we went. That was FUN!!

After that, Jordenne and I went on the new ride, THE INVADER!! When it started, it wasn’t scary but it felt LIKE A LOT OF FREEDOM! It was COOL!!

Next, we went into the motion master. ( If you are wondering what we do in the Motion Master , it is like a movie theatre that you go into and you wear 3D glasses. Also, the chair you sit on moves around really crazy because we watch a movie that has really scary rides.) In the movie, it felt like I was really in it.

For the last ride, we went on the FEAR FALL!! As soon as we went up, I felt scared because I knew that it is just going to COLLAPSE!!! When the Fear Fall just deadly collapse, I got a really big butterfly in my stomach. “THAT WAS FUN!!” I said.

At the end, we went back home. As we got home, we all felt Happy. We were happy because we had a happy and Fun day.

Manu Samoa Losing Their Match against Wales

Getting really excited about the game, I bet my cousin (Esrah) that the Manu Samoa are going to win against the Wales. My cousin and I were having a friendly argument about who is going to win. I was teasing my cousin as he was also teasing me.

Few minutes later, at 3:30, the game started as I sat down with confidence. I started feeling nervous after the kick-off because it looked like the Wales were going to waste them and they were trying their very best. At that time, my cousin started to say, “ I told you they were going to win.”

During the game, “WOO-HOO” everyone in our house started shouting right after we got a try. Again, “HOORAY” my family shouted after William’s kicked the ball over the goal post. We were winning just before it was half-time.

Right after half-time was finished, both teams were playing hard. I was just saying, “ I can’t believe that Wales are really hard to play against today.” 40 minutes later, it was full-time and I felt sad because Samoa lost against the Wales. The Manu Samoa were still happy after all.

My Personal Project Piece On USA

In class, I am studying USA. I am learning and searching on google what the native things in USA are. Did you know that the national/native bird of America is a Bald Eagle? That is what I found out. Also, the national/native “flower” is a rose. You all should know who the current president of USA is, right? It is Barrack Obama. Another thing I am working on is the story behind the American Flag. My class and I are having proud moments of learning about USA.

Our Long Run!!

In the recent past, years 1 to 6 had the opportunity of running 2 KILOMETRES! For cross country. How long and tiring would that be. I will never forget the longest run of my life.

Sitting nervously on the grass at the reserve, it was time for us to stand and walk to the line. As soon as Mr Burt shouted “GO!” I tried to pace myself and it was working out really well. A few minutes later, I was really tired and I thought to myself, “WHEN IS THIS IS GOING TO BE FINISHED.” I was running and puffing out. While I was running, my legs were starting to get a little bit sore, and I felt dead with the big stitch I had. “KEEP GOING HOSANNAH!” My friends, (Cecilia and Hainite) shouted. So I ran hard and I was happy because my friends were there to cheer me on. ( Champions never give up.)

As soon as I was right near the school getting to the finishing line, Mr Barks cheered me on and he was funny. I finally finished and I was happy of giving it a try while I was tired and exhausted on the ground.

The running day was over and my class and I went back to class. I was proud of myself. "I bet you my mum will be happy with me for giving it a try.
I said to myself with a smile in class.
